Posting Documents to

Directions for posting documents to DocuShare.

* Open the file in Word or ClarisWorks.
* For PC - Word users, - Under "File" choose "Save as HTML", (Remember the location you
saved the file to)
* For Macintosh - ClarisWorks users, Under “File” choose “Save as”, Under “Save as type”
choose “HTML file”.
* Close or minimize the program.
* Launch Netscape and go to DocuShare. (http://docushare.edutech.org/)
* Click on the Login link at the top of page.
- Enter the User Name and Password you've been given.
- Once you've received the "Login Successful" message, “Click here to continue”.
* Click on "EduTech School Districts”.
* Click on “Sodus Central School District”.
* Click on “K-12 Curriculum”.
* Click on the collection you would like to ad a file to.
* Click on "Add File".
* Click on "Browse" next to File.
* Find the file that was saved in HTML format on your hard drive, disk or server.
* Select the file and click "open".
* Fill in the space next to "Title".
* Click "Apply" at the bottom of the screen.
* Click on “Appears In: K-12 Curriculum”.
* Done!

* Go to http://docushare.edutech.org/, click on the “Login” link at top of page.
* Enter the User Name and Password you've been given.
* Once you've received the "Login Successful" message, Click on the
“Change Your Password and Personal Information” link at top of page.
* Click on “Login as an Existing User” or "Search for a Registered User" and enter your user
name or last name only if searching. Scroll, then click on your User-### to go to your
account Services page.
* Select “Change Password” from the Edit list.
* Enter your new password twice. (You may use any password you like - even one you
already have for e-mail, signing on to your network, or signing on to the on line courses).
* Click on the “Apply” button.
* Click on the “here” link to continue.
* If desired, you may select “Edit Properties” to edit your personal information (e-mail address,
phone, etc.)
* When done changing your user account information, click on the word “DocuShare” at the top
of the page to return to the Site Map of DocuShare collections.
